This test is sitting on the side of a hill facing north. There is a lake at the bottom of the hill. This lake has a point that comes out, then there is water and a land bridge that crosses at an angle left to right. A second pond is behind the land bridge where the far side rises up to a distant hill.
The three-man gunner station is up the far side of the hill, just left of the mat and are shooting to the right at 290 yards. The line to this bird is to go down the hill into the first pond, over the point getting back into the water to swim to the land bridge and go over it into the second pond. Swimming up the hill the dog will then get out of the pond and have to go to the right of the guns to retrieve their bird.
